Living the Faith -  Maker of Heaven and Earth - 1st Article apostles creed

Vicar Kohn will share in his sermon how God is our Creator, and we are His creatures. He is the maker of heaven and earth, and everything that fills them—we are just one of the many, many things He made. It was all perfect in the beginning, because God is perfect. As Creator, God decided how His creatures should live. He set limits. More specifically, He set one limit. Adam and Eve were allowed to eat the fruit off of any tree in the garden except for the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If they did so, they would die. That’s it. He really commanded these humans, “Trust me. Trust my words.”

In Bible Study we will look at Genesis 1 and Luke 1:5-24.

To be human really comes down to trust—trusting that God is your Creator and your Savior. He has made you for Himself, and He has given you forgiveness and eternal life through Jesus Christ. He wants what’s best for you, knows what’s best for you, and even is what’s best for you. So trust Him. More than anything. He gives you everything you’ll ever need, and so much more. Listen for His voice, His words—you won’t find such great love and care anywhere else.
