Fight the Good Fight
Ephesians 6:10-19
We have been given the full armor of God to stand firm, resist, and endure. We have the belt of truth which equips us for defense against the enemy. The devil seeks to lure us away from God's path. But when we gird ourselves with the belt of truth, we are protected against these attacks. When we put on the breastplate righteousness, we are not putting on the righteousness of Christ, that our defense against the accusations of the enemy. The boots of peace equip us with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. We're equipped, not with physical weapons, but with spiritual ones, powerful enough to demolish strongholds. It is not about the fight; it's about the One we're fighting for. It's about our Lord Jesus Christ, who loved us so much that He gave His life for us. It's about our Heavenly Father, who loves us with an everlasting love. It's about the Holy Spirit, who guides us, comforts us, and empowers us. Let's stand firm in the truth of God's Word. Let's resist the enemy with the righteousness of Christ. Let's walk in the peace that surpasses all understanding. Let's remember, we're not just wanderers in this world; we're warriors.
