Zion has been blessed with the placement of Seminarian Vincent Otto to serve Zion as Associate Pastor. We look forward to the arrival of Vincent and Dana this summer.
“Although Vince was born in Perryville, Missouri, he was raised in Kansas City and claims that as his hometown. He graduated from Concordia Nebraska with a bachelor’s of psychology in 2020. He will receive his Masters of Divinity from Concordia Seminary St. Louis May 17, 2024. He and his wife Dana enjoy playing board games, watching Kansas City sports, going to plays, baking, liturgical art, exploring new places, and trying as many different mini golf courses across the country as possible. His favorite thing about pastoral ministry is the opportunity to get to know people and the joy of sharing the love of Jesus with them, that everyone may know that He died, rose, and lives on to give all of us new life in Him.”

What a blessing Vince and Dana has been to our congregation during his time at Seminary. Vince has the best sermons and is very likable and approachable. He will be a wonderful Shepherd to the people at Zion!

I am a member at Holy Cross Lutheran in OFallon, MO where Vince and Dana have been assigned. You are getting two gems coming to serve your congregation. What a team! Vince delivers a solid sermon. He has been a great teacher in the adult Sunday school class. He encourages conversation, participation and learning. He is very well liked and respected. Dana is a lovely woman. She naturally interacts with others, and she is great with children. Vince and Dana work well as a team. You are a very fortunate congregation to have Pastor Vince and Dana joining your church home..
